Tennessee Vols to Play Intersquad Exhibition at AT&T Field on Sat., Oct. 4

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanooga Lookouts and The Sports & Events Corporation, Hamilton County’s regional sports commission, are teaming up to bring the excitement of collegiate baseball to AT&T Field, home of the Chattanooga Lookouts (Cincinnati Reds Double-A affiliate). On Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., Chattanooga will host an intersquad exhibition game featuring two teams comprised of the 2026 University of Tennessee Volunteers baseball roster, marking one final showcase at the historic stadium before its transition to Erlanger Park in 2026.

Hosting one final baseball game at AT&T Field is a meaningful moment for our organization and for the Chattanooga community, said Rich Mozingo, President of the Chattanooga Lookouts. We’ve had great success bringing high-quality baseball to this stadium, and this exhibition game is a fitting way to celebrate that legacy. I’ve worked with Tim Morgan and his team for years, and their expertise made The Sports & Events Corporation the perfect partner for this collaboration.”

We’re excited to partner with the Chattanooga Lookouts to bring high-level collegiate baseball to our community, said Tim Morgan, President of The Sports & Events Corporation. The Lookouts and our team have built a strong working relationship over the years, and it’s always a privilege to work alongside an organization that shares our mission of strengthening the community through the power of sports.”

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to serving our community through high-quality, community-focused sporting events and positions Chattanooga for more collegiate baseball opportunities in the future. The exhibition will offer fans in the region an exclusive opportunity to witness one of the nation’s premier college baseball programs in action.

General admission tickets are available now for $12. Gates will open at 2:00 p.m., and full concessions, including beer, will be available throughout the afternoon. Following the game, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive community engagement activities with members of the Tennessee Volunteers baseball team.

Coming off their fifth consecutive National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Super Regional appearance, the Tennessee Volunteers baseball program enters the fall with momentum and national recognition. With the No. 1 ranked signing class according to Perfect Game and one of the top transfer groups in the country as noted by D1Baseball.com, this exhibition game will offer fans a first look at elite talent, highly ranked recruits, and key returning players from last season’s standout roster.

This event is a celebration of athletic excellence, regional pride, and the power of organizational collaboration.
